How to Make DIY Glitter Ribbon Bow Stud and Dangle Earrings

Add some glitter to your outfit with these gorgeous, easy-to-make earrings that are sure to garner attention from your friends. And here’s the best part – they take about 20 minutes to make! Now how’s that for simplicity?

Here’s what you’ll need for the stud earring:

  • Black glitter ribbon
  • Rhinestones
  • Earring posts
  • Super glue
  • Scissors

Steps:

Take the glitter ribbon and cut four pieces of 2 inches in length and four pieces 1 inch in length. The longer ribbon pieces are for the curved part of the bow and the shorter ribbon pieces are for the tails of the bow.

Take the longer ribbon piece and apply some super glue on the inner side at the tip and then stick both the tips together to form the curved part of the bow. Repeat this with all the longer ribbon pieces.

Now take two curved pieces and stick one on the other as shown in the picture, and cut the tip of the shorter ribbon pieces as in the picture.

Now you have to stick the tales at the back of the curved parts to complete the bow shape….. 🙂

Now you have to add the rhinestones at the center with the super glue.

You just need to add the earring posts at the back of the bows……..!!

Here’s what you’ll need for the dangle earring:

  • Black glitter ribbon
  • Rhinestones
  • Super glue
  • Scissors
  • Connecting bars
  • Rhinestone flower
  • Jump rings
  • Earring hooks
  • Jewelry pliers

Steps:

To make the bow you need to repeat the steps mentioned for the glitter ribbon bow stud earring except the addition of the earring posts 😛

Now that you have created the bow successfully…. you need to add the earring hooks….

For that add a jump ring to the earring hook and cut a small piece (slightly larger than the jump ring) of the glitter ribbon….

Place the earring hook with the jump ring at the top center (as shown in the picture….)

Take the small ribbon piece and apply some super glue on the entire inner surface…..

Then stick it on the bow to stick the jump ring in place as shown in the picture……

Use the cloth pin to secure it until it dries completely…..

To make the dangles attach the rhinestone flowers to the connecting bars (i took the connecting bars from an old anklet) and then add the dangle to the bow as you have added the earring hooks……!! 🙂 🙂

That was easy, right? They won’t take long to make at all, and they don’t require any crazy art skills either. Just a few basic materials and some creativity!
