How to make DIY Badges using M-seal

Do you have some badges lying around the home as I do…..? Then this tutorial is for you…. This tutorial is a quick and easy way to make unique and awesome badges for yourself or you may gift it to someone….. Today I will let you know how you can make these DIY m-seal badges all by yourself……

You don’t need any special materials to do this, just some regular and easy to find stuff…..

In this tutorial I will let you know how to make 3 DIY m-seal badges…

How to make badges using M-seal b

Things you’ll need:

  • Old badges
  • M-seal
  • Plastic sheet
  • Cold cream
  • Nail paint / Acrylic paint
  • Some cylindrical thing to roll out the m-seal
  • Sponge
  • Black permanent marker

How to make DIY Badges using M-seal

Let’s get started:

First badge:

  • Place the plastic sheet on your work place.
  • Apply some cold cream on your hands and plastic sheet to prevent the sticking.
  • Grab your M.Seal and take equal quantities from each part.

  • Mix them together properly for about a minute.
  • Now it will end up in a soft dough like material.
  • Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes to make it a bit stiff so it will be easier to work with and will become less sticky.

  • Roll out the m-seal on the plastic sheet with some cylindrical object.
  • Place the badge upside down on the rolled out m-seal.
  • Remove the excess and wrap it over the badge.

  • Now place it on your palm right side up and smooth the surface by your fingers in circular motion (first apply some cold cream on your fingertips)

  • Take some more m-seal and cut out 2 small hearts (take the back metal part of the pencil which contain an eraser and press it to shape it in the form of heart and use this to cut out the shape)

  • Place it on the badge to form eyes.
  • Make the mouth by making the m-seal in thin noodle.
  • Let it dry for approximately an hour.

  • Paint it…..

Second badge:

  • Repeat the steps as in the first badge till smoothing the surface with your fingers.
  • Let it dry for an hour.
  • Take a sponge, put some paint on it and dab on the surface to paint.
  • Do the second coat if you need.
  • After that paint the glasses and mustache.

  • Outline that with the marker.

Third badge:

  • Repeat the steps as in the first badge till smoothing the surface with your fingers.
  • Let it dry for an hour.
  • Paint it black, after drying paint a golden heart in center.

  • Take the sponge and dab the golden paint on the edges to create the border.
